The Committee on Women and Psychoanalysis of the International Psychoanalytic Association (COWAP) launches a book entitled, Psychoanalytic Explorations of What Women Want Today.  This timely publication presents topics of female desire, authority, theories of the feminine, power, gender, stereotypes, community witnessing, importance of voice, transformation, and self-agency.  Book contributors present their ideas with special consideration of the fight for autonomy of women’s bodies and reproductive rights.
