I am a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist in practice for over thirty years in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and professional space for therapeutic work and to facilitate a sense of comfort and acceptance. My training has helped me to listen deeply and empathically. I am an active and engaged participant in the therapeutic relationship.
Many of the people I work with experience issues such as depression, anxiety, loss, low self-esteem, concerns about sexuality and gender identity, work/relationship problems, and issues of retirement and aging. I offer supervision to candidates in psychoanalytic training as well as consultation regarding ethical dilemmas in psychoanalytic treatment.
